The Product Development Engineer position is responsible for initiating and leading new product development projects. Must have broad knowledge of technical studies related to polymers, materials, chemistry and engineering. A solid understanding of multi-layer film design, applications, and limitations is highly desirable. Essential duties require conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to work though complexity and ideas not easily evaluated and make decisions based on conclusions. Applicant must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize tasks in a self led environment.
Responsibilities:
o Lead technical projects related to the new development of plastic films for a specific market or customer.
o Responsible for new product development from research stage through the developmental stage and into scale up to commercial activity.
o Organize and conduct pilot line trials onsite and offsite.
o Organize and conduct production line trials in conjunction with other Engineers.
o Report to the New Product Business Team as required.
o Perform all other duties assigned

Must have a minimum of a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Materials, Polymers or other related Engineering discipline with at least 5 years experience in dealing with materials, polymers, plastics, and manufacturing processes. Candidates with a Master's degree must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Additional requirements include:
o 2 or more years in an R&D or process engineering function preferred.
o Hands-on process manufacturing experience in converting processes, lamination, extrusion coating or metallization of plastic films is highly desirable.
o Working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, SAP, and manufacturing process control software
o Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
A drug, tobacco and alcohol free workplace and they do perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
