This position will be expected to provide comprehensive cost analysis for commercial, residential, industrial site and utility projects.
Construction Estimator Duties and Responsibilities Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects Develop complete and accurate estimates for a variety of project types to include earthwork/sitework, site utilities, concrete, asphalt, etc.
Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope and qualifications Review contracts Construction Estimator Requirements and Qualifications Proficiency with cost estimating software, AGTEK, CAD, and operating systems Word, Excel, MS Project Familiarity with construction practices, costs, and procedures Experience with vendor management, procurement, and construction management Read and understand construction plans Be an effective communicator Valid VA driver's license Pay commensurate with experience If interested, please call 804-452-3400 Job Type:
