Responsibilities include hospital and physicians services insurance billing to 3rd party payers.
The Medical Billing Specialist will analyze accounts to determine appropriate follow-up approaches for effective resolution.
Ensures appropriate billing elements are correct per the payers recommendation for rebilling the claim.
Perform follow-up collections on all accounts, including self pay.
Review accounts for appropriate adjustments and write-offs.
Resolve credit balances.

3-5 years experience in medical billing for physicians' services Knowledge of payer coding and documentation requirements, billing/claim edits and Medicare, Medicaid billing regulations Prior experience in a office setting is preferred Job Type:
